After the initial disappointment of it not being a Willie Nelson cover, there is a lot to enjoy here.
This band was the original "Italian Devo" from my imaginary "Italian Devo vs. Portuguese Sparks" comp. -- it turns out they are French but became really big in Italy.

It has come to my attention that Onderdonk has an allergic reaction to the Rockets. Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, vocoders, and rampant ugly will never add up to something good, it's true.
I have been humming "I wanna be your lover" from a previous post -- I think that one's a keeper.
I fully concur that "I wanna be your lover" has an infectious staying power.
However, yes, the Rockets latch straight onto my nervous system and shamelessly abuse it from a variety of unfair angles. No good!!!!!!
